I'm thinking about lower fairings with speakers.
I never really cared for the looks but they have been growing on me.
Those that have them what are your thoughts ??
Also found some aftermarket lower vented fairings with speaker pods for $525.00 on ebay. Anyone with any input on these ?? Thanks.
Vented lowers on mine (w/o speakers), but I never take them off. Mine are HD, but some aftermarket lowers are decent...just beware of the material type & design. Search for posts on these - definitely poor products out there so if you can find set of HD lowers, it would be my recommendation...
I got a set at a swap meet last year, Mint condition vented HD lowers in vivid black. I asked the guy about them thinking that I they are going to be priced too high. He said $100, I didnt even think. I just slapped the cash in his hand. They even had the locking glove box doors on them. Im eyeing the boom pods now for them. I love'em never taking them off.
I have em, and love em. You won't be even remotely disappointed, but you'd be better off getting real HD lowers and not aftermarket. Fitment and clearance issues I've heard.
I bought some aftermarket lowers from a forum member here... made 2 1/4" spacers, painted the spacer black.. the lowers fit perfectly! Speaker pods are next on my list lol
