used the HD thumbscrew for seat bolt, much EZer!
What's an HD thumb screw? Phillips head is a pain to get to and I'm afraid I'm going to strip the threads one of these times when I'm tightening it back down. That and I figure the screw driver is going to slip off and even though the scratch wouldn't show, it would still pi$$ me off.

Are you aware that you can move the tour pack rearward about one inch to facilitate accessing the seat screw. Holes are already there for you. Makes it much easier. Can't tell you did it. I did it for the extra leg room for my long leg girl friend and of course to make it easier to remove seat.

HD makes a little screw for your seat, that has a head, about as round as a dime but lot thicker,,, no tools required when removing the seat!!

PS,, our roads are total crap, 3 months a year,,, it would be very stupid to let that salt damage a $25,000 bike
and dont talk to me about the cold,,, Im a lineman,,, and spend enuff time in that Chit,,, while most are home
