I thought i was set on a pro pipe but i recently saw some thunderheader dyno sheets. 10% more torque? Is that true? It sounds like an awful big difference for something so close to the pro pipe.
I have both; the Thunderheader quality is not the best but I do love the sound; also heat shields are an extra cost which I think should be included in the cost of any exhaust --I'm going to try the quiet baffle in the pro pipe -- not really likeing the sound. Can't make a comparison two different motors.
I have a D&D Boss Fatcat on my 2010 Street Glide stage II 103 it works well. I also have an 06 Street Bob with an SE 120R, I run the VH Propipe Hi output on it. Really like the throatiness of the pro pipe.
Rode a couple of bike with Thunderheaders on them before making the buys on the pipes I have now, didn't care for the noise level at cruising speed with the thunder header. Even the "quiet" baffle in my fatcat can get a little tiring on longer trips (but it is two years old now, thinking the baffling may be burnt off?).

The quite baffle in the Pro pipe has a nice sound but is too quite. I mean almost stock muffler quite. Just letting you know.
I like the look and fit and finish to the Pro Pipe. I also like the quiet baffle option in offers. But, when I saw the power difference the Thunderheader offers it jumped it to the top of my list. What I need to know is, are those numbers true?
The Dragula is also an interesting option. How is it for volume with the 2.5" baffle?

I installed a set of Dragulas yesterday for my buddy on his 2012 Road Glide Ultra , they had a nice deep tone but barked when you got on them , he had Thunderheaders on his last bike and said he liked the way these sounded better , next week he is going to get it dyno'd

I had the Pro Pipe on a used Wide Glide I bought Sam. I don't know what baffle it had in it but it was far too loud and didn't sound deep and throaty like my Jackpots do on my FLH.
I am still looking for confirmation that the thunderheader torque numbers are truely 10% better than most of the other 2 into 1 pipes. Can anyone help me?
96" with se air cleaner and power vision. I just need the right pipe to match up to it and if the thunderheader is really 10% better than the rest then that is what i will choose.
