Congrats on saving your butt. Attentive riding also had a hand in preventing this near-mishap. If I sell the current scooter, it would ONLY be to get the ABS on the same ride. (Of course, I wouldn't mind the 103.)
Good news indeed, glad you are OK.
That's the ideal scenario for ABS, thanks for passing this on.
I thought you were going to share an air horn story too...

Trust me, there was not time for air horns or any kind of fancy foot work...it was all brakes as hard as you could pull and push. It always baffles me when I read about those who feel in that split second of an emergency you have time to feather your brakes to keep from locking them up. Believe, THERE IS NO TIME to do any of that so called " experience" braking crap. You are scared and you brake for all its worth. It all happens in a half second.
When I hear or read that someone can stop faster without ABS brakes they simply do not know what they are talking about. Test have proven that over and over again.
glad you are safe, that sounded close. did you and your friends eliminate the SUV driver? if not, i think that should be SOP in order to save future lives.
Hey, good job jumping on the brakes and holding a decent line. Some have tried to go around some how or another and then that gets them hurt.
I've heard that calm seas do not make a skilled sailor.
Thanks again, and glad you are OK.
Glad your ok but what happened with the other guys on bikes you where riding with????
I hate when that happens,u turns like no one is on the road, runnin red lights, pull in your lane like you ant there...ect.Gets the adrenaline pumping and a boot placed along someones car door.lol
I like abs just not ready to trade my bike in yet just for that.Sometimes stopping to fast gets you rear ended and flung into oncomeing traffic though too? I would just ride faster with abs? humm sorry to interrup now back to our sponser.
