I put a set of VH true duals with slash cut oval slip-ons on my '06 SG before VH certified them (September 2005). I've loved them since day one and was able to use the factory race download and a Stage 1 kit with no problems. Of course I've never put my bike on a dyno, but in my daily riding, I have no complaints about gas mileage or power.
Love the deep sound of the "Thounder Cones" many at the shop I hang out with change out their Rineharts for these...
I've been wondering about your pipes for a while now.I know the two into one thunder header is awesome so I figured the cones were and I like the looks..
My riding partner and I both have '05 Road King Classics with Reinhart's True Duals. We would rather listen to the exhaust note than any radio or CD. We compete to ride "trail" so that we can hear both our own bike and the bike in front. Pure Pleasure! ............... BC
Hey,
I personally like the Rinehart True Duals and have had a set on my Roadglide for almost two years. I did have to replace the rear pipe (like everyone else) before they upgraded the rear bracket. Good sound and good quality.
