I have this rack on my StreetGlide. It works as a running light and a brake light. Connected under the saddle with a supplied cable with the rack. Not as bright as my Custom Dynamics LED turn signal/brake lights but it helps. My rack stays on the bike.
The airwing with LED was already on my tourpak when I bought my Ultra.
I'm glad I have it and it's up there. Yes it is better than nothing and I like the fact it is higher towards eye level.
Having said all that I am disappointed it is so dim especially during daylight and wouldn't buy another.
I fixed that problem by getting a BAL-2 bright *** light
Here is a picture of my air wing with LED's, also Custom Dynamic LED turn signals front and back. Front show white while driving and amber when blinking. Plan on getting trucklight LED headlight in Daytona.
