Well worth the money IMHO, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it or to do it again on the next bike!
+1

Big time difference in having the heat move down the exhaust rather than in my lap.

Notice this coming up Parker Road (83), hitting all the stop lights through Parker all the way back to Denver.

Ceramic coating works!

Thanks for the replies....I guess the better question is if anyone has ran both and if they felt any heat difference. Just getting rid of the cat is going to reduce heat a lot whether it's a ceramic coated or just a stainless headpipe.

I just put Rush head pipes on a 2010 Ultra. Rush comes ceramic coated at no extra cost. In Louisiana I can tell a difference in the heat radiating from the headers. My bride refused to ride before I changed the pipes because of the head on her ankles. Now she wants to ride all the time. Check out DirectHarleyParts.com best prices I could find on any brand, ships the next day.

Default Ceramic Coating

I've had both header pipes with ceramic coated and without. The only difference I've notice is the ceramic pipe cools down much faster after parking your bike, as for as out just normal riding I could not tell a pennys difference in heat or performance wise in the two and It gets hot here in Florida while riding.

I am running the Jackpot HTC headpipe along with a HD Stage I a/c, 4" Jackpot Dynotuned mufflers, and a Fuelmoto tune flashed to the ECM via a PowerVision.

My personal experience below:
  1. The headpipe definitely carries the heat away from the rider. My right leg thanks me after every ride.
  2. The butt dyno can't tell if there was any improvement from the ceramic coating but the over performance of my 96" motor was greatly improved by getting rid of the cat, adding the headpipe, Stage I a/c, mufflers, and tune.
  3. The ceramic coating is so efficient at moving the heat down the line that the first 2" or so of my right Jackpot muffler turns gold after 75 mph highway cruises. This has happened twice since Jamie was so kind as to replace the 1st right side muffler that changed color only to have the replacement do the same thing. I am positive the tune is pretty bang on because the plugs look great after any type of riding (heavy traffic, high ambient temps, highway runs, etc.)
Just my .02
