Default Hookers pipes

Does anyone have them? I have a '05 RKC and I'm thinking about ordering them? W/ SE a/c. Any help will be nice.
I'm looking for some pipe that sounds loader then stock, but will not make my ears bleed after a few hours of riding at 60-70 mph.
I have heard them at the shop but was wondering about the sound outside? It's -6 up here at the North Pole so, going outside to ride is out of the question.

I have the Hookers tuned flow slip ons...it's louder than the V&H ovals, and it works great with the true duals. If you want to see some pics, click on my sig. For me it's not obnoxiously loud...But you would notice the diff from stock right away. You can also adjust it externally, T for torque and H for horsepower. I have mine set in the middle for both. Very happy switching from the ovals to the Hookers, performance and sound is also better in comparison. You do need a SERT or something similar to tune it right and a high perf air filter like the SE or K&N to reap the benefits. Hope this info helps.

I run a set of the Hooker tuneables on a 2001 RoadKing 95" they were one of the best performing slipons I had ever run, set the left to T and the right to H, they also sounded pretty good.

detphx, I have these on my '01 FLHRI from day 1 and no regrets! There are louder pipes, but none higher in HP in my opinion. The quality is great and the slash-cut style sets off my dresser/bagger/roadqueen nicely. My choice was based on a 1999 Cycle World pipe shootout, so of course there may be better options out there for you today.

Louder than satins fart! Lot of times you can Buy them on ebay for half retail. ( I did)The right one will turn gold in under a 100 miles. IMO they ran good but were too loud and turned colors, sold mine and bought vance and hines ovals, much better sound and quality+ good performance. oh,way better looks too.

Baloney. The only reason the Hookers, or any pipe for that matter, will turn gold is from heat discoloration from running too lean. The Hookers flow a LOT of air, which is why they provide such excellent dyno numbers. The more air you flow, the leaner you are running. You've got to retune the bike if you run the Hookers. I've got 6500 miles on my Street Glide and the Hookers look just like they did the day I bought them - no discoloration whatsoever. Of course I also had my bike dyno tuned - to me that's just common sense.
