I will be getting one of their 3/4 helmets soon. The 1/2 helmets aren't DOT. I see lots of motor cops wearing the 3/4 helmets.
Since I have a white RKC I'll be getting the white/black one... Matches the bike and gets everyone paying attention, slowing down, and give me plenty of room.
The Seer 1/2 helmets ARE DOT rated. They are not Snell certified (no 1/2 helmet is). Their 3/4 are both DOT and Snell.

All their helmets are DOT, and their 3/4 (they call it Full coverage") is also snell approved.
From their website "Super Seer is proud to offer two models of motorcycle touring helmets customized to your riding style. Built around a fiberglass shell and certified to D.O.T......"

Oh cool!
Si for those that have them... What's the best liner and interior option to go with?
I was interested in their 3/4 helmet so I visited their factory to try one on. They are currently changing over their 3/4 style to a new, lighter weight material.
Unfortunately, the round shape of their helmet just didn't fit my oblong head. I've found that practically all 3/4 helmets I've tried are biased to a round shape rather than oblong. However, Shoei has confirmed that their 3/4 helmet does fit oblong heads better, but I haven't pulled the trigger on one yet.
I was disappointed that the Super Seer didn't fit properly. I really liked the idea of supporting a local manufacturer.
That's interesting since they advertise that their helmets are made in Long Oval for American shaped heads.
I have not had a helmet that fit good since the Bell I bought in the 70's
I receently purchased a 1/2 helmet from Super Seer. My initial impression was; WOW! Look at the great quality of this helmet. Then I tried it on, wasn't sure about the fit so I called Steve and he sent me a few foam items in various sizes that worked like a charm. Their customer service is top rate. This is now my favorite helmet and the bonus is that it actually feels and of course, is safe when you are wearing and it looks pretty good. This helmet offers form and function.
