Was wondering if anyone has had any problem with 1" dia. ( grip, control area) Being to long? Installed left grip, controls and clutch perch and have a 1/2" gap between clutch perch and 1 1/4" bar section. Measured from the end of the bar to the 1 1/4" dia. The left side measures 7 1/2" and the right measures 7". ????

Wow..that would tick me off and having to modify bars that cost that much in any way is BS. Q
I had a problem same as you with avon grips. The bars are made to harley grip specs and when I used the harley grips no problem. Check my threads that I started and you will see where I posted the photos when the shop installed the bars.
wow that sucks. if you cut it off then harley grips wont work or what?
ive seen pics on other threads and IMO it looks wrong with the gap..... just wrong.
i have a set of 12" MBB out in the shop to go on my ride when i get time. going to measure right know.
