At this late in model year I would wait on new till the 13s come out if you can stand the wait...
BINGO!!!!!!
Atleast wait to buy the 2012 till after bthe 2013's hit the street.
I always buy the model yr when they first hit the street and ofcourse pay the full note......lol
And as others have already said........BUY YOUR COLOR CHOICE
At this late in model year I would wait on new till the 13s come out if you can stand the wait...
I am also considering this the new colors will be released in June/July. With them hitting the floor in July/Aug.
Might still end up going with the blue because it is a bad *** color. Plus if I wait a few months I can save up more cash for mods. Bars and exhaust are going to be the first things to go pretty much right away.
It's not like your two women waering the same dress..
I was thinking the exact same thing LOL Seriously though, if you were happy enough with the bike before he got one, don't let that stop you. If it makes you happy go for it. Why should you let what someone else does govern what you do?
Well this week I was going to pull the trigger on a 2012 big blue pearl street glide then a new guy who just joined my group just got one. ugh! Really? Top it off he has the same first name as me. lol GREAT.
So going to see if my dealer can track down a Tequila Sunrise Orange. Those don't last very long on the floor and not sure how many are floating around out there. Kinda bright but oh well it will be harder to run me over by the cages.
If they can't find one would you still go with the blue? We both have bald shaved heads too. Just my luck. Guess there is also new colors in July with the 2013's hit.
If you found the bike you like - BUY IT - and if you are really all that worried about the similarities between you and the new guy you can always - change your name & wear a wig - that should eliminate any confusion!
BUY IT - and if you are really all that worried about the similarities between you and the new guy you can always ......
......... cover yours w/more Willie G skullstuff than he has, so the rest of the crew can tell ya apart.
................ just so you don't start hugging in the parking lot.
..... of course, you could also do the really smart thing, and get a BBP Road Glide. NOBODY will mistake you for him ever again !
