I know these speakers have been discussed in the past but I finally broke down and bought and installed the “HOGTUNES” speakers and that is one of the best $100. I have spent.
These speakers are the way to go, I do not have any distortion even at full volume. I didn’t have any idea of how much musie and sound I was missing with the old stock speakers. The clarity and over all sound is awesome
Ditto............Got mine last week, 15 minute install and just a world of difference in the sound quality....especially at speed. Pez really knows what he's doing.
I installed a set in my 06 SG, I could tell there was a pretty big difference, but still had trouble hearing them at 75 mph. There was a post here about software upgrade for the HK stereo, so what the heck I'll try it. I installed the software upgrade and what a difference it made, I'm only at 1/2 volume at 75 mph and can hear it fine now.
If you haven't put the software upgrade in, do it, made a big diff on mine.
have an electra glide standard that I installed the Biketronics kit with the hog tune speakers and have been very satisfied with the sound. Haven't had the need to turn the volume all the way up yet, but the sound has always been clear without any distortion.
I've got the hogtunes & they are great. Pez gave good tech support when I had some questions. The sound improved with the speakers and got even better after I did the HK software upgrade.
No problem hearing the radio at 80 or 90 mph & no distortion... & ya gotta love the mp3 cd holding 120 songs on a disc...
