Default Email from Yaffe about 8 bars

So I sent Bagger Nation an email about the 8 inch bars like on the constanino bike, and if they are making them. They said they can be special ordered in the MBB version but I was told they can not do it in the classic ape style due to the bending and not having enough room to hold bars to bend em or something like that...I get it, cuz those bars have the lower bend to get around the fairing and the bend to the grips, where the MBB only has the lower and the upper is a separate piece to the grips.

I mentioned I like the 8's on the constanino bike cuz it kept the grips behind the fairing, and they commented that the 10s do that. I guess I'm just not seeing it right cuz every pic of 10s I have seen except for one where the person had them pulled back, the bars were at the top peaking over to me. I guess its close enough for them to say that. *shrug*

Not exactly the same but I have the LAC 13" PrimeApes and though they are higher than the top of the fairing, the wind still goes up and over and not directly into the knuckles. Hope this helps, hasn't been an issue with me.

I put the 10's on my bike this winter and took it for a spin on Sunday. The wind doesn't hit the knuckles straight on, but it did hit the top of my hand.

The Monkeys or classics?

Any pics? Especially from the side. I saw some pics of the MBB that must have been pullled back cuz they were indeed behind the fairing. but no side pics. Side pics are key to see how far up or back they sit.

I have the LA Choppers Prime Apes and even though they are 13's the wind does go up and over.

Those look more like 12's.

Is Yaffe makin these things taller? I did a google search, and older pics(that link to the forum here) the bars are almost even with the fairing... while newer pics the 10's all seem taller. Maybe its just that I looked at way to many pics and my eyes are playin tricks on me! LOL Yours really look taller then a 10 tho.

Even pictures can be deceiving. I have 12" bars pulled back to about the height of most 10".

These are all the same bars.

Yea they're taller than I thought they would be, but they seem to be comfortable. Glad I didn't go with the 12's though, my hands are about parallel with my shoulders now and I think the 12's would be too tall for my height and seat.

Are yours the Classic apes? The classics sit higher then the Monkey Baggers according to my email. The Monkey 10s are supposed to sit below the fairing while they did not make that claim about the 10 classics. Maybe I will reply and find out if that is the case to be sure they didn't just leave it out. I also think it has to do with pullback like you said. Yours are a bit lower cuz of being pulled back. I think I would pull back a bit too. The 10 apes on my old bike were pulled back a bit and they were great. Pushing them forward isn't for me. I put my bike on cruise and grabbed my mirrors, and that seemed to put them about where 10s forward would be and it was too far for my liking.
