I suppose that you trailer your bike more than you ride then if your wife goes?
I am riding to Sturgis from the North Carolina coast and I don't want to hear her talk. That is why I am asking about this for her to talk on the phone instead of me on the 2,000 miles there and back.

Seems to be a lot of confusion about the various technologies, so it may help to clear one thing up...
Bluetooth had a very limited range - typically only 10 metres or so. When used in the context of the device, BT is used to pair with local devices eg Satnav and / phone.
Generally a BT device can only pair with 1 other device. This is a BT limitation, so don't be misled by fancy claims of a device that hooks up with everything including the toaster!
That said, I use the Scala G4 and I am very happy with it

We wear Schuberth helmets with their built in Scala system. Best stuff we've used and we have tried several! We can send a man to the Moon and talk to him, but still make a meal out of two people talking to each other on the same bike!

You are right...I guess that I am jsut letting these Afghanis get to me with all of this rioting going on over here and not being able to take a shower or sh*t other than in a port-a-john...
