I am about to install audio on my 09FLHTP. I am using the new Kicker pxi50.2 (as a hideaway head unit/Ipod input), RF pbr300x2, and a set of alpine 6.5" component speakers. Was there any trick to installing the tweeters in the guage holes? I heard someone say you could install the tweeter in the plastic filler piece, then snap the whole setup into place, is that the case?
Second question, what do you have the console where the radio used to be. Looks like there is a flap of some sort with the HD logo on it...
The speakers snapped in just like the blanks (easiest thing I ever installed). The pouch is a fair pouch bought from hd. About 25bucks. I wired my ipod through the back. Its quite handy. I couldn't find any other "kit" that fits. Its merely mounteed with velcro (easiest thing I ever installed). Can you believe they give the velcro with it! Lol. Good luck.
