After the little accident on ths SG, and going thru the fender straitening, I've been thinking of changing the color
to Black Pearl, and was wondering if the BP is just a flake over the Vivid Black? If so that would be easy, If not
this means stripping the tins and primer and Base Clear...

Is there anything about strippers on the BatWing, Side Covers, And Bags, I should be aware of...

I repainted a GoldWing at one time from a sun beat marroon to a briliant deep sky blue.. (it was actually Cobalt Blue, a Subaru color)
I wouldthink there wouldn't be any differences...

The reason for the thought of paint change, Vivid Black and it's shinny finish is hard to keep swirls off.. And My first choice of color
was Black Pearl, but wasn't available for months...

So what do you think, leave well enough alone??

 

Just prep, paint & clear...no need to STRIP.
