Installing hdpdplus
Hi All
I am trying to install a hdpdplus into my 2012 ROAD GLIDE ULTRA.
But after I hooked it all up I could not get the faring to fit on.
After several hours of trying to reposition the wires and plugs I gave up and removed the interface and was able to put the fairing back on.
I think that the wires between the 2 male plugs need to be much longer so the plug assembly can be moved to the side of the radio and further back.
But even then it may not fit under the fairing.
Has anyone had this problem?
If this has been talked about before please post a link as I didn't find much about this unit being installed onto a FLTRU when I did a search.

I've got a batwing , so it might be a little different... but I had to position everything UNDER the radio - not to the side...
It still causes problems with getting the fairing on or off... but it does fit very tightly..
I know your post was a while back, and you might have solved the issue, but I just saw your post...
