Im lowering the frontend on my 08 electra it says to cut the pvc how long have you guys cut yours and whats the ride like ? i have heard 1/2 inch what do you think? that would be 1/2 total length. thanks in advance

 

I've had it going on the bike for the last two years with 13,000 miles and it's still perfect on my 2009 Road Glide with no change that I've notice....

 

I did one on my Dyna and it is easy enought that you can always statt small and trim a bit more. Of course your scoot may have less acessibility or other challenges. Did you lower the rear as well? I lowered the dyna (yep a lowrider) by an inch in the rear and tried the drop in kit at stock but the front end fallover (or whatever it is called) at slow speeds was bad. I then went a half inch and things got better, about 5/8 inch and bingo all was as I wanted it. Point is that you start small an tune to your expectations. Different bikes but data may be of some small help??
