Just put the adjustable on my 2011 Limited which has the Hammock seat (1" back ). It did not fit real well as it was pushed up against the front of the seat slot and was pushing me too far forward when adjusted to its most back position. I just mounted the adjuster to the bolt under the air deflector and I can just reach under it when riding to change position. Did not want to cut air deflector. I ended up adding new mounting holes and forward support plate to the backrest bracket to move it back 3/4" and now fits the seat and I'm back to original riding position. Have not tried it with the passenger yet so may end up pulling the pad portion off when passenger is with me.

A video on it, but it does now show you where the base mounts under the seat. But the base mounting is straight forward, no drilling required.

I have an adjustable that I took off my 2010 ultra limited when I traded it. I worked great. I will sell it if you're interested. Cant use it on my 2012 Cvo RG.

I ran in to an issue with the adjustable mount, it will not work on any tall boy seat I found. It was good with the stock seat. The adjuster was just behind the left side rear air deflector. I found it really hard to adjust and ride at the same time.

I've got the adjustable on my 2011 Limited and had one on my 2008 road King Classic before that. Works well, great for long rides. I had my dealer install it, and I can snap a picture of the control if you still need it.

HD adjustable. Easy to mount too - do it yourself.

HD Adjustable all the way. Adjustment lever bolts on with 2 bolts, my RJ's heat deflectors almost cover it, but on the bike you just drop your hand right to it. No regrets, I would do it again. Also handy that it folds down forward to ease passenger getting on or off if needed. Easy on or off, great with my Sundowner. Makes it easier to back up or up on center stand. Be sure to match pad to your style, if available.

I have the mustang backrest. It matches the seat perfectly.
