Default Big bore

I'm thinking of a big bore kit on my 2001 Electra Glide. Some people have told me that it's hard to get it to run right with the fuel injection I have. Has anyone done this and did you have any trouble. I have a programer on the bike now,but not sure if that would help with the problems people are telling me about. One guy said it could cost me more for the parts to get it running right than what the big bore kit would cost.

True that the Delphi injection in 2002 and later is easier to tune than the Magnetti-Marelli (MM) injection on your 2001. However, a good tuner with experience in tuning the MM injection shouldn't have a problem. Several folks also convert their MM's to carbs. There are several posts on the net on how to accomplish that as well.
