Here's your solution and you won't have to beat your kids as one suggested.

You got it. I know exactly what you're talking about. My garage is the same way.

Now you could build it as small as possible and when the "L" door is opened, you would have all the room you need. Putting a hinge on the "L" wall would add more flexibility. Casters to support the weight would also be advised.
Now here's some thinking outside the box. That's a great idea. Thanks for the help.

Wow, interesting reading. I understand 100% that sh@t happens and kids are kids. I used to store my ride in the garage with the cars but I ended up building a second garage but this may help unlike some other posts.

Saw something like this at a local motorcycle show.

Hope it helps and good luck

If you are talking about standing water then say so, don't use the word condensation, it has a different meaning. If it is standing in water you could build a platform to drive it onto, sometimes it pays to throw a covering over it. And yes, a box inside a box sounds wacky to me. If a garage needs improvement then improve it or modify it, building a garage inside a garage is a strange thing to do. I don't know the conditions you have there, but it sounds like your bike is an extra special status symbol and you want to put it in a cigar humidor. That is the picture I get from the words you wrote, if that picture is not accurate then clarify your statement.

After saying all that, I want to add I meant it when I said you are free to be yourself. I'm sure we have all done things others laughed at us for doing but we did those things anyway because that is what we wanted. It is not important that I or anyone else understand, you are not hurting anyone, if that is what you want to do then you should do it.
First of all I think I made it quite clear that the problem I am trying to resolve is protecting the bike from excessive moisture....yes, I would call it condensation because the floor is completely damp WITH CONDENSATION - not large puddles of standing water - but condensation....and lots of it. This condensation, whether it be in the spring when the frost comes up or in the summer during humid times transfers to the bike and the bike is soaked with condensation top to bottom. Of course I wash my bike - of course my bike gets rained on - but of course I dry my bike too so as to not have it rust. "status symbol"? No, i don't roll that way, but I do take pride in the fact that I own a pretty nice looking bike and I work hard to earn it - and I don't plan on having it become a rust bucket.

My bike is not a garage queen. I happen to ride my bike every chance I get putting over 10,000 miles a year in our short season and travel across the country every year so again your original statement was ridiculous.

I can handle someone disagreeing with me but you come at me with these over the top BS statements to refer to me being some over protective idiot so I responded.

If condensation is your primary issue, with protection from flying objects being secondary,
then maybe the bubble might the best solution for you. All the guys in the local classic Cadillac club use these bubbles,
and some of these cars are worth 10 bikes.
I would say use whatever your budget can handle, and works for you.
Oh, just wondering, would you build a little storage space inside your shed to keep your
harley accessories safe?
