Nothing now. They fixed them. Make sure you get the newest version of the 300x4.

Have you personally used one? I was not happy with mine, and it was not an old one.

I have the 300x4 in my wifes jeep. Works flawlessly. I have the updated version of it. Buddy of mine is the garage manager at an car audio shop, so I'm well aware of the problems from the earlier models. Not saying that Arc is not a good amp, it is, but for the money, RF is good to. Maybe just not for you. It's not for everyone.

The sound quality would start to fade fast after 10-15 min of playing at high volume.....Which is exactly what you do if you are riding long distance at 60-70mph

Must have been something wrong with your particular amp - maybe a bad circuit or component on the board? I've beat the crap out of mine for hours with no problems.... no loss of sound quality or clarity.

Or maybe a bad ground... Something doesn't sound right. I'd send it to RF under warranty and get a new one.

The only problem I have with the pbr300x2 is that it is too loud. I crank it for about 15 minutes then I have to turn it down. I do not have any problems with this amp.
