Well, I for one hope it's not the new vivid black or that will mean everyone will have one! But, if the rumors are true and they bring it back for '13, there will start to be quite a few out there...
Unless the bike costs the same or less than a Vivid Black bike then it ain't ever going to be the new Vivid Black. The number one reason Vivid Black is popular is it costs less and still looks awesome
Wow. Having been the owner of both a vivid black and BBP bike I can say, at least from my experience, the price difference has ZERO to do with the choice. I love black, I also loved the BBP. When purchasing a $20K bike and after doing a few grand in customization the price difference in factory paint isn't even a blip on my radar. And I hear the argument about Vivid Black being easier to match for aftermarket and custom parts and I would agree, had I not had custom paint work already done on my bike and, again, the price difference between having black and BBP work done was negligible. The real chore was finding a painter that could do it...but that's obviously water under the bridge at this point.
Again, love both colors, BBP was just what the SG needed in my eyes
