I bought a new pcv to install and have questions. The instructions say to unplug the o2 sensor wires. Am I supposed to leave them unplugged all the time while using the pcv? Also, where can I get extra maps, the ones on the dynojet website aren't the set ups I have. I have stock head pipes but the cat has been removed, arlen Ness big sucker air cleaner, and rush 4" big Louie slip ons with 2.00" baffles
I bought the pcv from cycle solutions. I was going to buy it from fuelmoto but I wanted rush slip ons and I had some extra money on my paypal that I needed to use and I don't think fuelmoto let's you pay through paypal.
Iclick, thats interesting, did they make a change to the PCV to send the O2 signal to the ECM? If, so that was a good idea.
For the 10-up PC V, from the instructions:
7 Locate the stock O2 sensor connections and unplug both connectors (Fig. D)
The stock O2 sensors will NOT be connected to anything at this time. The sensors can be removed from the exhaust if you have a way to plug the hole. Unplugging the sensors does NOT cause an engine light but will cause a historic code in the ECM for non-active O2 sensor. This is not causing any issues with the running of the bike.
Just zip tie the O2 sensor wires to the frame so that they don't flop around--unless you remove the sensors entirely and plug the holes.
Question ? I just posted a similar thread on the PCV. My friend has an 2010 streetglide and we installed the PCV but I don't recall any thing about disconnecting the O2 sensors. Perhaps I overlooked something ? The bike is running rough and it shuts down during idle. Also has a starting issue, it cranks a bit before it starts. At times it starts fairly quick.

Go back and reread the directions, You will have to unplug the 02 sensors and plug in the jumpers if required with the 10 model year.
The hard starting will be eliminated by starting the bike like this: Run/kill switch off, turn the key on, flip the run/kill switch on and immediately hit the starter button. Do not wait for the engine light or the injectors to prime.
