I had a 97 Ultra great bike. At 60,000 miles my cam bearings went and destroyed the engine. This was the first bike did not change cams in, just rode it. Replaced the engine and traded the bike at 110,000 miles. That was the only problem I ever had with it.

cons, some parts can be hard to find and expensive, pros evo"s are fairly reliable.

Probably a great bike- hopefully well taken care of.

My '95 I sold at 80,000 miles last year ( $6500).

some '91's had porous cases and oil could seep from the motor into the primary.

if that hasn't happened by now, it isn't going to.

forget about any kind of dealer support, but there are lots of indys to help take care of the millions of evos on the road

Mike
