Don't get me wrong, I think it sounds cool...just got a little worried after the shop's mixup...now I can feel at ease opening her up and enjoying the road and that beautiful sound

Did they dyno after the work? Sert?

No, call me crazy, but I didn't want to spend $800 on a SERT + dyno. I went with the Power Vision with Autotune module so I could adjust my tune as needed and still use the original O2 sensors as well. I'm also a pretty big fan of being able to monitor engine parameters/etc. on the fly

I agree, I just wanted some peace of mind that the cams were finally lined up properly

A stock engine has a very predictable and monotanous exhaust sound, modified (cams) engines tend to have variable, intermitent sort of hiccup where the exhaust tone varies. The hotter the cam the more lope the engine will have.

Lopey cams are often heard in muscle cars...I don't know If I can describe it but well, but its that uneven throaty idle sound that sounds like a horse galloping..which is actually where the term comes from.
