Have my polished front rotors on order with my chrome front end. For you guys that have the rotors, does it take much maintenance to keep them looking good? My guess would be to just hit them with some mothers aluminum polish or similar once or twice a year and they should stay real shiny. Let me know what you've done and how they've held up.
Have had my polished rotors on the bike for over 2 years and 20,000 miles and I think they still look good (in my opinion). I give the bike a good wipe down ever Sat morn and occasionally polish with chrome polish. You should have no problems keepin em shiny if you stay on top of it, good luck and good choice, it really makes your front end look better.

I use Mothers and HD chrome polish on all of my chrome and Flitz for anything that is polished. Flitz is the greatest stuff on the market for anything that isn't chromed. I even used it on stuff that was a raw finish and it makes it so much more vibrant and shiny. I swear by the stuff and will always use it until someone shows me something better. Word to the wise though, make sure you follow the directions and get it off in time. It is a de-oxidizer, so it "eats" the bad stuff off. But if you follow the directions, the stuff is amazing!

Just wondering why you say that Flitz isn't good for chrome?
I've used it on everything (polished aluminum, stainless steel, brass, chrome, even oxidized paint) for 25 years and have never had a problem. Flitz is the best for any shiny metal imo. I would be careful with chromed plastic parts, though.
