I am buying a 2012 street glide without cruise because dealer couldn't find me one. Dealer said he would add harley cruise control at the dealership. Does anyone know if this is an issue or if it differs from the bike coming from the factory with the cruise on the bike???

No big deal. Plug N Play. New handlebar control switch assembly and programming of the ECM.

 

Same as factory one, don't worry about it.

Anyone install one themselves? Easy or a pain in the ***. Want to add to my 12 SG also. What about about the on/off switch in the fairing cap, is that included? Curious and Thanks!

 

Very easy to do. Just need them to tell your bike that it now has cruise.

yep thats the way mine arrived with out cruise. dealer installed it & it works fine when i took possession of it.
