I've got a brake question that I cannot find the answer to online to save my life.
A couple of months ago I was able to pick up a used but never mounted H-D Agitator wheel for a song off of craigslist. I'm not sure if I want to spend the money on brakes to mount it or sell it. I was looking at brake rotors and noticed there is a raw rotor and a polished rotor available.
Do you know if there is any difference in performance between the two? Will the polished rotor quickly start looking like the raw rotor? The Chrome inner/Raw outer rotors will save about $50 vs. the chrome inner/polished outer rotors.
P/N for them is: 41500002 and 41500007.
Also, does anyone know what the P/N is for the proper brade pads?
I had polished rotors on a RK with stock brake pads the polished surface of the rotors quickly wore off — it didn’t look too bad though. I changed to Lyndall pads and it actually returned it to more of a polished look.
