I've got an 05 RKC and I've been considering putting an open belt primary on her. They look great but I'm concerned with the functionality compared to a standard chain primary. Does anybody have any experience with an open belt primary and/or any knowledge of how it performs compared to the OEM primary?
I have been riding with guys that have choppers and first off they whine loud, and the one guy has had three stones go right through three belts. but they are cool just not dependable.
