i put one in the headlight of my road king. while it was pretty bright at night, and seemed to be a good quality light, it didn't even last a year. for the short life of it, i didn't feel it was worth the cost.
Regular version of the Sylvania bulbs are an 881L. These are not the Silver Stars.
Not saying they don't exist but I have just not been able to find them around where I live in the Silver Star variety.
Come to think of it only place I found the 881L's are at a Napa store, never found them at Autozone or similar parts stores.
Tough to find those sometimes except on web or specialty shops but you are right, if you can find them get those since they are vibration resistant, so they say.
