This has been a goal for several years - finally completed it and it took awhile to find an 'On line' collage maker used http://www.scrapwalls.com/ inside that you can upload pics and adj each pic for size and location -
Goal - Ride in ALL fifty states - what a great country we live in
Took a pic of eachs state Welcome sign - this is the finished product.
started back really riding in 97 - at first it was just a 'Dream' like we all have - then in 2009, the wife and I made our first Coast to Coast (CA to Savannagh and back) and in 2010 and 2011 I rode with www.rftw.org and the wife said "Hey how many states will we be riding through - your bucket list goal??" thats when it got kicked into high gear. We zig/zag all over hell getting back to CA and actually finished them in Late 2010 - Just took me a year to find a way to get them all together..
In 09, I got a patch for my jacket {Blank US map} then as we rode and at the end of the day - I would pull out my colored markers and fill in the state or state we made that day - wife used to make fun - I looked like a kid with a new coloring book. LOL
I also did my first Iron Butt this last June and We plan to go for another Iron Butt patch this summer (National parks patch) {at least 50 NP's/NM's or NHS's in at Least 25 states - IBA give you a year to complete that --- IF Mother nature will work with me - we hope to complete that in about 7 weeks??? Time will tell - I broke my Right Calcaneus (Heel) this last Aug and I am just now getting around pretty good - should be good to go again in May with "Run For the Wall" www.rtrw.org
That is very, very cool! Congratulations on accomplishing a very worthy goal!
Thanks,,, Rode through your state last June - HOTTTTTT - Iam a retired FF and one of my friends at the station is a big Homer Simpson fan - So, when I rode through Homerville, Georga and the Fire engine was parked out front of the station - had to stop and get a picture of Homerville FD sign... Actually, a very nice little town.
Man was your state hot last June..
Awesome accomplishment for sure! Congratulations! The state welcome sign photos were a great idea as well. By the way, I'd say that's fifty down from the "Bucket List".

Thanks,
In 09 the wife had a hard time getting a good pic of the sign if we could only slow for the pic,,, then I taught her how to shot Continuous pics - then I got 50 shots of a sign - at the end of the day she would have 200 pics on the camera to go through -
A good riding friend started a goal a few years back - while out touring - spend the night in a town - starting with each letter in the alphabet - not an easy goal.. I think I will pass on that one, lol
