i have never had a problem with my 09 egs, have in the past with other bikes..In my opinion, if you introduce movement into the chassis, you open the door in certain situations for wobble to happen...baggers are heavy, so they have alot of mass in the equation , and the rubber mount , is a wild card looking for a good , or (bad ) hand, I am sure any of the fixes out here, primarily for the pre 09s are an improvement, and if I ever have a problem I will be looking at them.....even for my 09
I tried, I really tried. 90-95 miles an hour in a couple of long sweepers with a few bumps on a windy day.
I'm so pissed, no death wobble. I must be doing something wrong?
Granted, its a 2012, but no suspension upgrades or stabilizers. Wait - maybe its the profile low shocks I needed to lower it a bit?
A 2012....no wonder. Try it again in a couple years, after some hard two up miles, and give the rubber bushing time to deteriorate, and get sloppy. My brand new 09 did't do it either. A year and a half later, it was a different story. No where near as bad as my old Evo bagger, but there nonetheless.

I hope for you sake Keithhu you never experience major tank slap on any bike your riding. Because if you ever did you probably wouldn't make light of the phenomon so easily. Now I'm not just talking about some back and forth wobble. No, I'm taking about the back wheel jumping off the ground as it switches from one side to the other. I'm talking about when you finally get it under control and your buddy who was riding behind you pulls up next to you and yells over "christ that scared the living crap out of me" death wobble Keithhu. Don't wish it upon yourself Keithhu. You might just not get it back under control. Do you know how hard your body gets slammed onto the cemet when you get highsided off a bike Keithhu. I think not or you really wouldn't wish it upon yourself.
I have the problem, on my 2001 Ultra. Trust me - it's real, and it's scary. I no longer trust this bike, and it only has 10,000 miles.
75 mph, slight left-hand sweep, on the Ohio Turnpike, with 2 semi's behind you. Got so bad, one truck locked up his brakes, and the other left the road. Not good

Put a brace on it. I'd be interested in hearing the outcome.
