Since you have an SG, buy the VENTED fairing lowers--they come with the glove boxes--no need to buy glove boxes separately. See this product description:
It's only the non-vented lowers that don't come with glove boxes and must be purchased separately.
Carl
Told you guys my local stealership was a ripoff. He priced me for the vented ones and wanted to charge me extra for the boxes. Thanks for the info Carl.

I purchased a new set of vented lowers from www.lshd1.com. $540 shipped to my dooor. The snap on leather covers are included in the kit. I purchased the magnetic covers and the liners separately. They are great add-ons.
So I went to the Harley shop today to look into getting a set of lowers for my SG. I wasn't at all surprised at the cost. 649 for the vented painted ones. What got my goat was the 169 each for the plastic glove boxes. That's ridiculous. Anyone know somewhere else I can get the boxes?
I got mine from Fairing Factory off of ebay for half that price. They are not Harley but the they look as good.http://www.ebay.com/itm/Harley-David...3bb910&vxp=mtr
They list for 447.00 but email or call and ask for better price and the will do better, worked for me. Hope this helps.
Don't forget that the doors for the vented lowers come separately!
not true. if you get the vented lowers, they come complete. nothing extra to purchase, unless you want to upgrade to the magnetic doors, quick detach hardware, etc.
if you get them from a discounter, they are considerably cheaper, and if you want denim black, those are even cheaper yet. i paid less than $500.00 for mine.

You're welcome. My dealer gives me the paper P and A catalog; some dealers charge for it. In any case, the parts counter should have a copy for you to read. Likewise, you can go to HD's website.
Just READ the product desriptions; parts folks at the counter want to be helpful, but most are pretty ignorant.

Maybe I'm reading this wrong but the HD web states "The complete kit includes left and right Fairing Lowers, convenient glove box and lid, plus all necessary mounting hardware. Glove Box Doors are sold separately" .... Correct me if I'm wrong ..OK?
