Single side rotor install question
Whats up fellas. I'm about to install a single side rotor on my 2010 streetglide. I'm installing HHI bomber legs, PM 6 piston caliper, and an RC componets 13" full floating rotor. I have dual disc rotors on my 21" front now. My question is how do I go about changing out the dual brake lines and run the single stainless line? Do I just run the single line from the abs module? Any imput would be great. Thanks again guys
I am currently doing the single side on my 06, can't help with the abs question. You can look up wanaryd website, they have loads of great info in tech section. I will toss my 2 cents in on parts. I would go with Arlen ness hot legs, by far best looking lowers availiable. I went with a hhi 6 piston caliper, liked look of no contrast cut. However it has been over 3 weeks and they have yet to ship it, very poor customer service. Wanaryd also offers complete packages from rotor caliper, legs, line and lines.
We offer our Premium Single Disc Conversion Kit that is everything you need in order to get set up for a single disc brake system! Also, like Thedink mentioned, visit our tech articles on our site for more information on what is necessary to convert and the reasoning behind it. Ryd Safe!

Hey XjayX, that's what I was thinking too, but here's another question for you. If I have two line leaving the abs module going to the front calipers and I'm going to a single disc how do I block off the other line coming off the module that won't be used since I'm only running one brake line to the front now?
There isn't two lines going out for the front. One coming in from the master cyl and one out to the caliper. Just replace the one going out to the "T" and take it straight to the caliper... Will work fine. You may have to have the dealer bleed it and cycle the abs module. I"ve been able to bleed mine once and the other time I had to take it in. It depends on what position the seliniod is in inside the abs box on wether you can bleed it or not...
