Top 3
Wise Men,
Will be jumping back in the saddle again following the holidays.Wife's convincedI'd be a happier man with a '07 FLHRS. (she was too easy)
My question for you guys: If there was only three (3) upgrades/changes I could do,what would top the list and why? This could range from Stage 1 upgrade, PCMIII/SERT, bars, bags, chroming, wheels, etc.
I'm always in here read'in, even if I don't post much, and respect all the years of experienceyou guys have to share. Learned all I know from working/listening to the old wise men around me. Wondering what would top your lists.
Budget: $3000 parts/labor
Thanks all

Do the performance stuff first ( Stage 1 AC, exhaust, PCIII ) then start on the "pretty chrome" stuff and other items to personalize it for yourself. Most of all .. have fun and ride safe!!
Depends on your goals for the bike. Stage 1 (pipes, a/c, tune) is a no brainer, but you'll have money left. If you just want to look good around town, go for the bling (chrome and mayve some wheels). If touring is your goal, you may want to look into some additional luggage space like a tour pack or T-Bag set up, cruise control, and a better seat. Lowers would also help if touring is the goal. A Corbin seat would be at the top of my list regardless. You should also make sure the bike really fits you. You may find yourself wanting to swap bars.
In town profiling and short (under 300 mile) rides:
Full Stage 1
Wheels (this could put you over your budget easily)
Lowered
Apes
Touring
Full Stage 1
Corbin w/ rider backrest
Luggage
Bars if necessary
Cruise Control
As always JMO
