09 Ultra Classic. Found the right upper support bracket broken. Was able to repair it but I thought HD came out with a new improved bracket for 09. If you notice you have a bit of movement on your fairing chances are one of the brackets is broken.

Anyone else find broken brackets on their fairings?

 

Just had both upper brackets (the new design) replaced on a 08 Ultra with 48xxx miles and the dealership told me they had not seen any problems out the new ones. It should be noted that my fairing shaked at idle and did not once I got above idle or going down the road.

 

If you are talking about the ones right behind the speaker, you should check the main fairing brackets to see if they are broke. My fairing brackets broke and that's what cause the speaker one to break....to much vibration.
