I am getting ready to buy some Avons - the ones with the "paddles" built in and saw this thread. Guessing from the comments the issues posted here are with TBW bikes only?

I have Avons on my 09 Road King. They fit perfectly. I didn't do the install as they were on the bike when I bought it. At 23,000 miles they are showing signs of wear. I'll probably buy a new pair when these are too ragged and slick.

Well, update.. Now that I've calmed down, I called Avon. Their customer service was absolutely AMAZING! They informed me that they have issues with aftermarket bars. I am sending him the grips and he is going to custom fit them to my bars. Just because of the customer service I will continue to use their amazing products.
