I bought, installed and rode with the center baffle this weekend on my SG. Only rode about 30 miles or so with it but didn't notice a significant decrease in wind coming up.

Anyone have any idea why it has three mounting holes and only comes with two screws?

Completely useless IMO. I kept mine on because it's chrome otherwise I would have used it as an ashtray for my garage.

Guess I shouldn't have expected a big change with a product made by HD and sold for $30.00. Now I'm told to combine it with the fork lower deflectors for a "big improvement." Think I may just leave it alone.

I put the chrome Harley one on my FLHRS a couple of years ago and I can't tell any difference in air flow but left it on because I like the way it looks.

go for a ride in the rain without it.... then put it on and try it again....

helps with rain drops running up the tank into your eyes.. not noticed a whole lot otherwise.

Then they screwed up 3 times cause my 98 Road King Classic had two and so does my 05 Ultra.

BTW, my 05 Touring service manual says to remove the baffle when it gets over 70 degrees outside to allow the air to flow under the tank and across the heads to help with cooling...
