Hi all I just bought a 2008 FLHP with the 103 ci several weeks ago and the dealership included the stage one download, It already had the sreamin eagle pipes. Now I am geting decel poping please advise, did they actually do the download or what?
Decel popping can also be caused by an exhaust leak, check it out.
...So, since your bike is still considered stock (SE exhaust doesn't change the AFR) you are running at 14.6-7 AFR which is the primary reason for the popping on decel...
You've made some pretty big assumptions here. 14.6 or 14.7 is not necessarily the reason for decel pop...an intake/exhaust leak, timing, and carbon issues are a few other possibilities.
Unless you were there and know what was done, you might be leading the OP in the wrong direction.

I think a lot of experienced and knowledgeable tuners would strongly disagreement with that statement.
When I bought my 04 RKC a couple of years ago, it had already had the Stage 1 installed and dealer remap, along with D&D slip ons. It sounded great, but it really had a lot of decel popping.
I just installed 4" Jackpots and the Fuel Moto EFI Tuner last week and what a difference. Decel pop is gone and there is a noticeable improvement in how she runs.

Let me just say that recently i put on V&H true duals, basic slip-ons and a SE Heavy Breather on my '08 FLHTC.
I bought a new V&H Fuel Pak off ebay for about $200 (I am not going to mod any further) and programmed it according to V&H specs. I have really woken up this bike compared to stock, with NO popping on decel.
What is the best way to solve the Decel pop? The bike was fine stock. I have checked for exhaust leaks and found none. I think the pop is coming from the rear cylinder because I hear it more on my left side. The dealer said they could tune it out on the dyno but that's $600 bucks. I'm considering keeping the duals but putting on the stock mufflers to see it there is any changes. Any advise would be great.
No I havn't, is the vance and hines fuel pack a good fuel management?
The Fuel Pak does what it is designed to do, which is to provide limited fuel management at a low cost. The limitation is that you can't perform a thorough dyno tune, install custom maps, adjust fuel beyond broad parameters, and spark advance cannot be adjusted.
It is an inexpensive solution for some, but for a bit more money you can buy a PCV from Fuel Moto which is much more adjustable and you will get a good map for your configuration installed at the time of purchase. Azsg2011 had problems with his FM map, but based on abundant feedback here this is the exception rather than the rule, as most are happy with their setup.
I have 555 cams, pv, stage 1 cleaner and vance and hines true duals with their turn down mufflers. I had some pop on decel out the left side. Once in awhile after it was warmed up and shut off I would pick up what seemed like a miss on the right side, as soon as you hit the throttle it would go away. I also had an erratic idle once in awhile. These were all intermittent problems and would not go away after following fuel moto's suggestions and changing the map numerous times. Last Sat. I pulled the mufflers and installed a set of Big City monster baffles in the headers ahead of the mufflers.
I have been on it almost every day since. I have no more popping on decel, no more problems after it is warmed up and the idle is steady all the time.
It did take some of the growl out of the exhaust but it runs too good to care.
I think it just needed some back pressure to run correctly since this set up is completely open from the head back. I left the baffles in the mufflers. Now it runs and sounds great.
iclick assumes I'm unhappy. Not the case at all. FM is a good company, backs their products. I am a repeat customer and would recommend them to anyone. My bike just needed some hands on fine tuning to get it where I wanted it. Not complaining, sometimes thats just the way it is.

Call V&H, they will have you adjust a couple of settings. Should help solve your decel popping unless you have an exhaust leak as well.
