I put them on my EGC and they are tons better than the stock ones. Not too much trouble to install either. I found some loose screws on the fairing during the install. All in all a good project
I rode to work this morning and all I can say is WOW!!! I found myself having to turn them down a few times. These puppies crank compared to stock.
Definitely better than stock and for the money a very good upgrade. After playing with the bass and treble a bit, mine got even better. I would highly recommend them as an upgrade, but they still cost more than a little over ten bucks..... HaHa!
I installed these and the iPod module / harness on Sunday.
The harness install was a pain in the a**, speakers were easy (since I already had the outer fairing off). Took me about 4 hours, with beer and smoke breaks.
Got everything from Surdyke on-line. Dealer wanted $1K for just the iPod module and install...no thank you!
First impressions have been very good! Haven't really had a chance to get out on the highway, but around town they are a noticeable improvement.
Ahh crap can someone PLEASE post a bad review so I can save some money
These speakers SUCK, they take away the crappy sound and now I can make out the words so I know I'm singing it wrong!

Sooooo easy, 13 screws, a headlight plug and speaker terminals unless you have fairing wings, then 19 screws, a headlight plug and speaker terminals. I took my time and doubt I have an hour in it with beer breaks ............
and by the way the story I told about my wife hearing my new speakers while I was in the driveway while she was upstairs on the treadmill with her ipod on is even more impressive because she dont' hear so good. Everytime I say I want to buy something new for the bike she says "What" then I have to repeat myself and she then doesn't answer so she must not hear to good...
