Default Vance and Hines Headers

I just installed the headers and they bang/rub on the floor board arms.

What is the solution to stop this? I already install two extra washers and they still bang on the right floor board.

What headers did you go with? I have the true duals, and have no fitment issues. Do you by chance have a floorboard relocation kit installed?

Yes It happened to me on my 2011 flhx!
There is a spacer kit that comes with the V&H header, but mine still rubbed.
It bugged the **** out of me cause it vibrated the right floorboard.
I noticed my heat shield could slide toward the head another 1/2 inch, and bammmmm that was it.

I just put the V&H true duals on my FLHTC. No fitment issues or rubbing whatsoever.
There was a floorboard spacer kit in the box with the pipes, but I didn't need it or use it.
Post some pics if you can?
As stated above, check your heat shields for proper placement.

No problems here either. I did use the floorboard spacers.

Which bike & I'd say josh1 has the right idea - if it's the shield play w/them a bit to see if it corrects the problem. Good luck!

If all else fails - you can dremel off a bit of the shield too...

I had the same problem with my Power Duals. Turns out it was the front heatshield. If you have the Power Duals then loosen up the front heatshield and rotate it so that you have more gap between it and the floor board bracket.

Default Replaced floorboards.

I had a similar problem. I always had a little vibration on my right foot, plus heat. I replaced my floorboards with this kit from HD - 50500158. They extend out about 1/2" more than stock and @ 4" longer. This kit just came out so it may not be in stock. If you like your stock floorboards an extension kit would do the trick too. I do like these new floorboards; they are well made and look much better than the stock units.
