Is this a test?
He never said oil filter. Plus I doubt it could be that because its protected by the frame.
Me think he broke air filter cast backplate in motor.

If it is just the threaded piece then it is replaceable.

I think your friend is correct. You would have to tap TWO holes but it should work using a remote filter. I would try this first, before doing anything more expensive.

Actually, I would shove paper towels in the two ports and saw off the rest of the filter mount so that it is nice a straight. Remove towel and tap the holes out and try it.

hi went to machine shop last night. the guy said bore the hole for oil line .on the 2 pieces so oil passage is same and do 2 sleeves about 2.5 inches long. push half in case half in filter mount , glue the sleeves and weld the pieces together ,or taping the case for remote filter will check on ebay for the filter bracket , wurktruk as the 120r thank for help all mrfuji

I used babel fish a lot as a translation tool while I was stationed in Deutschland.
