Default Please Help me Identify these touring shocks
Gentlemen,
Please help me figure out what shocks these are. They have served me well for over 8yrs or 40K miles....This is on my 1999 Ultra an is the finest shock on a street bike I ever road on... I have never touched it. They have gone an dumped their oil.


Who is the manufacturer, what model an will they service them?

Can't tell by the pics - any markings (part#)? Either way - have you thought about rebuilding them (new seals/oil)?

Absolutely I hope to rebuild them but I don't have a clue as to how...

I can see the letters C R in the back of the shock. I did a google search a few different ways and didn't come up with anything. Maybe you can take them off and see if there is anything else we can use?

I was told they are the original Progressive 440's but have learned they are not... The C&R buttons are the only writing on them....

I was thinking Progressive at first just by the look.

Hopefully someone will chime in with the answer.
