PC-V tune
i will be headed to Sturgis and was curious if i would have to reprogram my tuner for the "air" up there? mine is tuned here locally at sea level. 13.3AFR do you guys think i will be OK?
You'll be fine. I doubt that 200K+ bikes are all running to get a high altitude tune. Sturgis is only 3400 feet, and even if you head up into the hills, its not like yer climbing Mount Everest!
Sea level or high altitude...the PC-V maintains the programmed tune because of the MAS Air Sensor...VE, incoming air temp, barometric pressure, etc. It's pretty much a hands off device.
Its cool man don't worry about it. I trailered mine up to Leadville,Colorado with 3 other bikes last year, rode the Rockies, across Wyoming, the Black Hills and back to Leadville.
Not one stumble, my limited ran like a beast.....
Ride On...No Worries...
