You need to take a serious look at the type of riding you will be doing, and then make the choice based on what best fits your needs.

If you aren't doing a lot of touring and don't need the luggage and fairing then think about a Wideglide or a Superglide.

Plan on doing some mods, on a new one you'll want to add a Stage 1, with a air cleaner/pipes and eliminate the CAT and put in a EFI tuner. Figure $1.5K USD at least if you aren't going to do the work yourself.
I see myself getting 2 different HD, I like SG as something different and daily transport to office, I also like the side saddle bag for my laptop, documents & others and as I really hate 4 wheel thingy, getting stuck in traffic jam for hours, the custom crossbones/Sportster bobber for weekend fun use and create havoc on a track, probably fitted up to stage 2 stuffs on it, I have some spare Ohlins front forks from my race Ducati 998R & Brembo Monoblock calipper with discs to try to custom fit them in. Also just to show that not all harley owners are just guys with mid age crisis, yahoo just look at me!!!
Thanks

Ha ha ha !!!

I don't care who you are !!! THAT'S funny !!

And it's true. You ain't gonna chase down no Ducati
with a X-Bones or a StreetGlide. With better susp, the
SG will out handle the Softail.
Get a fast Sportster- or maybe a Dyna.
Or . . . an FXR with a 100" + motor
