Can i take off the lens of the headlight on an 09 SG to clean it. It looks like it need cleaning with Windex or some glass cleaner. Or how do i get it off to clean it on the inside. Thanks
Negative...the only access to innerds is from rear where headlamp bulb goes inside. Gotta take outer fairing off to get to it...
Thanks. I should have done it Friday when I was having my inner fairing swapped out for the new painted one. Oh well I will live with it for now. Thanks again.
you can get access eather way listed.....fairing removal no big deal.. but how ever you clean it..make sure you dry the inside of headlight throughly..if not it will fogg... maybe best to apply some alcohol rubbing al after words the blow out with a air hose with light pressure..this should get all the moisture out.. if you happen to touch the bubl use alcohol to clean it before reassembling...
