I have an Iphone 4s that I am planning on using on my bike for my tunes. I am unsure yet with which mount set up I am gonna use. What I want to know is...from you guys who have mounted your Iphone to your handlebars, do you have any issues with vibration affecting the phone? Let's face it, our bikes vibrate like the ol lady's night stand drawer. Just wanted to know if anyone had any problems with the phone from the vibes. If you want to add what mount you use I am still looking for ideas
You should be just fine. I'm going on my second iphone with no problems whatsoever. Like the previous posters mentioned, just be sure to turn off the shake to shuffle function. Been meaning to buy a handlebar mount but it works ok in the leather pouch mounted on the fairing. Enjoy.
have used my IPhone with no problems, I just plug it in and fold the cord up and put it in my windsheld pouch ride with it in the rain and it has never got wet
I just mounted mine today using a 1" scope mount for a 22.cal rifle I had laying around as I've made one before using scope parts for my gps.I used the scope mount and a otter box case the part that clips to your belt. What i like about it is easy on easy off and when not using your phone for GPS you can put the phone in the holder backwards so the sun's not beating on the face of it.I'll get pics of it and post them
