I bought a console from Cyclone Custom Corp for my iphone. It fit my old 3G iphone and it now houses my iphone 4s. The nicest thing about this mount is it locks the phone into a weather resistant enclosure so it's out of the elements. All of those handlebar mounts worried me when I thought of mounting my expensive phone out in the wind and the elements.

I've never seen another Harley phone mount like this.

Check it out at www.cyclonecustom.com

Mine works great with no problems. I use a very inexpensive mount I puchased for about $20. It works perfectly for me. Check it out www.thecellbuckle.com/

Let's face it, our bikes vibrate like the ol lady's night stand drawer. Just wanted to know if anyone had any problems with the phone from the vibes. If you want to add what mount you use I am still looking for ideas
Before I changed radios used the riders claw as well for the I-Phone, worked great and never had a problem. Really a well made product and perfect fit with a nice chrome finish............reminds me I need to sell mine!

I use the iron aces mount also...it's one of the best mods that I did to the bike. Works for the music, the gps, the (app) speedometer/compass and keeps it charged.

I just throw mine into the fairing pouch but would like something better than that really. I have a charge wire running out one side of the pouch down to the cig lighter and the aux wire running out the other. Looks horrendous. Thought about running the aux wire in the inside of the fairing and and up into the fairing pouch to at least eliminate that one.

You would think with all the technology we have they could figure out how to charge from the aux wire......

Make sure you turn off the shake to shuffle or you will be ready to throw your iPhone out on the hwy like I was.

Like said already, turn off the shake to shuffle.

you can also use the GPS on it, it will automatically turn down the music when a turn comes up, then turn your music back to whatever volume you had it set to.

I use a RAM mount.

The company Michaels Stainless Innovations as posted by Knewt5 makes custom sized brackets for the iPhone and for an extremely reasonable price. I didn't realize it before but I have his mount for my iPod that I don't use anymore. I may use him again for this one because I want a mount that will work with a case like an otter box

One problem with all those handlebar mounts is the sun. Your iPhone can't handle the heat so well and will shut off when hot. On my Cyclone Custom mount I just slip in the UV shield and away I go. Those handlebar mounts look kind of dorky too. I've never bought anything for my Harley that cost $20. I was just real concerned about my $399 iPhone sitting out in the wind on a $20 clamp.

Another option is he HD pouch that uses a magnet. Just put it on the gas tank.

I thought about that but I like having the Ipod/Iphone on the bars next to the controls...guess I am just used to it
