$350.00 you paid just to hold your phone! Must be nice to have that kind of dough lying around !
I really didn't have a lot of dough laying around but it seemed like a nice way to house my phone which I use for both music and GPS. The HD GPS costs $750 so this console for $350 was a lot cheaper, and I bring my phone with me anyway. As I said in an earlier post, those handlebar gadgets look kind of dorky.
What the heck, every chrome part for your Harley costs a fortune. I've seen some cheap plastic consoles and mounts for phone, but I'm not putting plastic on my bike either. If you paid over 15k for you bike, why not spend a little more to make your phone work right on there and look good too?
I found the Cyclone Custom Consoles on Ebay for $299! Must be some vendor low balling the price on them. It's the best thing I've ever put on my bike, I use it every day.
got a kuryakyn tek mount on my mirror mount.
it works well on my road king running gaugeface app for a tack and oil trmp.
I just liked the screws to tighten the phone for my peace of mind.
Leader's eCaddy mounts recently put an anti-vibration feature in every bracket they sell. When you have this feature in, even idling Harley riders say they can finally read everything on their phone! It also helps that the mounts are NOT plastic, they are machined aluminum, then chrome plated or black anodized. Check out the options: http://www.leadermotorcycle.com/moto...-phone-mounts/
